Exhaust Snorkel Details
Lab exhaust snorkels offer strength and resilience combined with simple handling. The lightweight anodized aluminum has three adjustable joints. They are suitable for the removal of heat or irritant fumes. They need to be tied into the general HVAC for the facility. They are a reliable arm for general facilities and laboratories
- Available in 3” diameter with a maximum working radius of 42.9” (109 cm) or 57.1” (145 cm)
- Each extraction arm is furnished with 5.5” mini hood that will accept the optional hoods noted in this section
- Can swivel and rotate 360°
- The articulating arm can be mounted to the wall or ceiling. We offer the full mounting kits and hardware with each exhaust snorkel arm.
Exhaust Snorkel Hoods

Made of powder-coated aluminum, the metal hood captures aggressive fumes, high temperatures, and dust, providing excellent corrosion resistance.

Drop Ceilings Installation
Installing an FX2 exhaust snorkel into a drop ceiling is straightforward. Use the “43-inch additional tube extension,” which can be cut to size, and an optional “ceiling cover plate” for a clean finish.
Exhaust Snorkel Diagram
- Arms are 2″, 3″, or 4″ in diameter, consisting of thin walled anodized aluminum sections specific to the model
- Noted models are corrosion resistant
- Exhaust connection point swivels with 360-degree rotation
- The adjustment knobs on the articulated friction joints are supported by ball-bearings
- Mini bell mouthed hood is supplied with the arm
- All arms are provided with dampers

The FX2 Exhaust Snorkel Models are flexible extraction arms designed to remove harmful fumes and dust from labs. They include the ORIGINAL, ESD/EX, and Chemical Resistant models, offering robust performance, corrosion resistance, and static control.
