Tape, straps, tensioners, and sealers designed for secure shipments—available in wholesale quantities.
After a product is boxed and cushioned, the final, crucial step is sealing and securing the load. This is where tape and strapping become mission-critical. A weak seal can lead to opened boxes, lost items, and exposure to the elements. Improperly secured pallets can shift, causing catastrophic damage during transit. These are not just finishing touches; they are fundamental components of load integrity. Investing in high-quality sealing and strapping supplies is a core part of a smart sourcing strategy. It ensures that all the care you put into your products and packaging is not wasted the moment the shipment leaves your dock.

Packaging tape is one of the most consumed items in any warehouse. Its primary job is to keep a box securely sealed from your facility to the customer’s door. We offer a range of industrial-grade tapes to meet different needs. Our acrylic tape is ideal for long-term storage and applications in varied temperatures, while our hot melt tape provides aggressive adhesion for high-volume, automated sealing lines. Both offer superior shear strength to prevent seals from failing under pressure.
Purchasing packaging tape in bulk cases is the most economical way to supply your operation. It ensures you never run out of this essential item, preventing disruptions to your picking and packing workflow. Our tapes are designed for consistent, easy release from the roll, reducing frustration and improving the speed of your packing team. A strong seal is a sign of professionalism and a critical factor in protecting package contents.
When you need to bundle packages or secure a full pallet load, strapping is the required solution. We offer two main types: polyester (poly) and steel. Poly strapping is the modern standard for most applications. It is strong, flexible, and safer to handle than steel. It also has excellent elongation and recovery properties, meaning it stays tight even if the load settles or shifts. It is perfect for securing boxes to pallets and bundling lighter materials.
Steel strapping is reserved for the heaviest and most demanding loads. It offers the highest tensile strength and is ideal for securing industrial equipment, construction materials, and loads with sharp edges that could cut through poly strapping. Properly strapped pallets are essential for warehouse safety and organization, especially when using pallet racking systems. We offer both types in bulk coils to support high-volume industrial and fulfillment operations.
Strapping is only as effective as the tools used to apply it. A professional strapping job requires the right equipment to ensure the strap is tight and securely sealed. A tensioner is a tool that pulls the strap tight around the load. After tensioning, a sealer (or crimper) is used to clamp a metal seal around the overlapping straps, creating a strong, permanent joint. For lower-volume applications, combination tools that tension and seal in one device are also available.
Using the proper tools ensures every strap is applied with consistent tension, which is critical for load stability. It also improves the safety and efficiency of your team. We provide a full range of durable, ergonomic tools for both poly and steel strapping. These tools are a one-time investment that pays for itself by preventing load failures and improving the speed of your shipping department. Understanding the difference between packaging and shipping supplies includes knowing the tools that make them work.

A neatly taped box and a securely strapped pallet reflect the quality and professionalism of your brand.
Use poly strapping for the vast majority of applications, including bundling boxes, closing cartons, and securing pallet loads of standard goods. It is safer, more flexible, and more economical. Use steel strapping only for extremely heavy, non-compressible loads like stone, metal beams, or industrial machinery, or for items with sharp edges that would cut poly strapping.
The ‘mil’ is a unit of measurement equal to one-thousandth of an inch, and it refers to the thickness of the tape. A higher mil thickness indicates a thicker, stronger, and more durable tape. For general-purpose box sealing, a tape around 2.0 mil is standard. For heavier boxes or applications requiring extra strength, a tape of 3.0 mil or higher is recommended.
For high-volume or industrial applications, using separate tensioner and sealer tools is recommended. This setup is typically more robust and allows for greater tension to be applied. For lower-volume needs or for teams that need more portability, a combination tool that tensions, seals, and cuts the strap in one device can be a more efficient and convenient option.
