Material Handling USA designed and installed a full-warehouse selective pallet rack system at Enlinx’s third-party logistics facility in West Valley City, Utah. The large-scale installation runs long continuous rows of green teardrop pallet rack with orange step beams across the entire warehouse floor.
Enlinx is a third-party logistics (3PL) provider that manages warehousing, inventory storage, and distribution services on behalf of multiple client companies. Their West Valley City warehouse at 6935 West 2100 South required a flexible, high-capacity storage system that provides direct forklift access to every pallet position — essential for managing diverse inventory from multiple clients with different product types and shipping schedules.
The Project
The installation features over 100 rack bays with four or more beam levels per bay, wire mesh decking on every shelf, and cross-bracing throughout. The rack layout was engineered around the building’s structural support columns to maximize storage density while maintaining clear forklift aisles. The selective rack configuration gives Enlinx direct access to every pallet position from the aisle, supporting fast order fulfillment and efficient inventory rotation across all client accounts.
