SciLogex Laboratory Equipment
Benchtop workhorses for every lab — stirrers, hotplates, centrifuges, mixers, shakers, homogenizers, and liquid handling — quality instruments at accessible prices, supplied and supported by MH-USA and Labs USA.

About SciLogex
SciLogex, LLC is a Connecticut-based laboratory equipment brand — headquartered in Rocky Hill — specializing in benchtop instruments and liquid handling products for research, clinical, educational, and industrial laboratories.
The brand’s promise is straightforward: dependable everyday instruments selected for quality and priced so a lab can equip every bench, not just the showcase one. The manufacturer states its products are produced in ISO 9001 facilities, with cTUVus certification on applicable equipment.
That value position is why we carry the line. Most labs do not need premium-brand pricing on the fifth stirrer and the third vortex mixer — they need instruments that work every day and are easy to replace, calibrate, and standardize on.
Benchtop workhorses: the instruments every lab runs daily.

Magnetic Stirrers and Hotplates
Stirring and heating are the most-used functions on any wet-chemistry bench, and this is the deepest part of the SciLogex line. Digital magnetic stirrers — the SCI6-Pro, as a published example, runs 200–1,500 rpm from an LCD control — handle routine mixing; hotplate stirrers add simultaneous heating; and dedicated hotplates like the SCI550-H put a 7″×7″ ceramic-coated plate rated to 550°C and 1,000 W under precise digital control.
Digital control matters more than it sounds: set-and-hold temperatures and speeds make protocols repeatable across shifts and benches, and external temperature probes (PT-1000 style) tighten control accuracy at the vessel rather than at the plate.
Heat and stir under digital control — repeatable across every bench.
Digital hotplates hold set temperatures across multiple vessels.
Centrifuges: Micro and Clinical
Rotor options decide what a centrifuge can actually run — confirm them first.
SciLogex centrifuges cover the two workloads most labs actually run. High-speed micro centrifuges handle molecular biology — the published D3024 specification reaches 15,000 rpm and 21,380×g maximum RCF, with rotors for 1.5/2.0 mL tubes, 0.5 mL tubes, and PCR strips, and run timing from 30 seconds to 99 minutes or continuous.
Clinical models spin blood and sample tubes at the lower speeds those protocols require. Across the range you get lid-lock safety, imbalance protection, and brushless motors — the features that determine whether a centrifuge is still quiet and true after three years of daily runs.
Rotor compatibility is the spec that bites people later: we confirm your tube sizes and counts against available rotors before anything is ordered.
Liquid Handling: Pipettes, Fillers, and Dispensers
Mechanical for everyday work, electronic for repetitive protocols.
SciLogex liquid handling spans mechanical micropipettes for everyday transfer work, electronic micropipettes that motorize aspiration and dispensing for repetitive protocols, pipette fillers and controllers for serological work, and bottletop dispensers for repeat dispensing from reagent bottles.
Electronic pipettes earn their premium in two situations: long plate-filling runs where thumb fatigue degrades accuracy, and multi-step protocols where programmed dispense sequences remove operator variation. For everything else, well-maintained mechanical pipettes on a calibration schedule are the right answer — and cheaper to standardize across a team.
We quote tips and consumables with the instruments so nothing arrives unusable on day one.
Consistent liquid handling is the foundation of repeatable results.
Mixers, Shakers, Rockers, and Homogenizers
Sample agitation is quiet infrastructure: vortex mixers for tubes, platform shakers and rockers for flasks, plates, and blots, and homogenizers for breaking down tissue and preparing samples. SciLogex covers each with compact benchtop units in analog and digital versions.
The homogenizer line includes handheld and stand-mounted configurations, so one drive unit covers a range of sample sizes. For shakers and rockers, match the motion — orbital, reciprocating, rocking, or rolling — to the protocol, and size the platform to the vessels you actually run.
Stand-mounted homogenizer setups keep both hands free for the sample.
Shakers and mixers keep samples in motion without an operator standing over them.
