Why Use a Helmet Holder
Setting a fire helmet down on its suspension or hanging it by the chin strap loads the ratchet band and traps moisture inside the shell. Ready Rack’s Helmet Holder supports the helmet under the brim instead, which relieves pressure on the ratchet band and leaves the inside open so interior parts dry out quickly. Over time that helps helmet components last longer and keeps the helmet ready to grab at turnout.

Where to Use It
Most stations order one holder for each turnout gear section and set it on the top or helmet shelf of a Red Rack or chrome Ready Rack, so every firefighter’s helmet sits in the same spot above their coat. It also works on a shelf in a decon or drying area. See the Wall Mounted Red Rack and the full turnout gear rack line.
