Why add a modular break room or conference room?
In many warehouses and plants the break room is a long walk from the floor, too small for a shift change, or shares space with an office. A modular break room puts seating, counters and appliances close to where people work. A modular conference or training room gives teams a quiet place to meet without leaving the building.
Rooms are built from finished panels with a ceiling, lighting, outlets and HVAC, and assemble in days in a small work zone.

Size the room for the largest group on break at one time, not the total headcount. Plan seating, counter space, a sink if water is close, and dedicated circuits for refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers and vending machines.
Put the room near the work but away from forklift aisles and dock doors, and protect corners and doors with bollards where traffic passes.

Planning a conference or training room
A conference room needs quiet more than anything else. Sound-rated walls, a solid-core or sealed door and laminated glass keep plant noise out. Add data, outlets at the table and wall, and blocking or a wall plan for screens.

Upstairs, under a mezzanine or on the floor
Break and training rooms do not need direct access to the floor, so they often go upstairs in a two-story office or under a mezzanine, freeing floor space for production. A load-bearing roof can also add storage above a single-story room.

Fabrication
After drawing approval, lead times are typically 4 to 8 weeks, subject to confirmation, for fabrication and freight.
Delivery and install
Panels or finished units arrive by truck and are assembled or set in place, then your trades make the final connections.
