Door & Window Options for Every Application
Doors and windows serve critical functions in modular buildings beyond basic entry and light. They provide fire protection, sound isolation, security, visibility, natural light, ventilation, and accessibility. The right door and window selections transform a modular building from functional to exceptional — while the wrong selections create problems with noise, security, energy loss, and code compliance.
Material Handling USA offers the full range of commercial door and window options for modular buildings. Standard configurations include commercial steel doors with lever hardware, tempered glass windows, and panic-exit hardware on egress doors. Upgrades include fire-rated assemblies, acoustical doors, ballistic-rated entries, sliding glass systems, transaction windows, and electronic access control provisions.

Door & Window Options
Select the right doors and windows for your modular building’s function, security, and code requirements.
Standard Commercial Doors
18-gauge steel doors with commercial-grade lever locksets, closer mechanisms, and weatherstripping. Available in 3-0 and 3-6 widths for ADA compliance. Single and double-door configurations.
Fire-Rated Doors
UL-listed fire-rated door assemblies from 20-minute to 90-minute ratings. Required where fire-rated wall separations occur. Include fire-rated frames, closer, and positive-latching hardware.
Acoustical Doors
STC 35–50 rated door assemblies for sound-sensitive applications. Solid-core or specialized acoustical door systems with perimeter seals, automatic bottom seal, and acoustical frame gaskets.
Windows & Glazing
Tempered safety glass in aluminum frames. Fixed, operable (sliding or awning), or full-height glazing systems. Double-pane insulated glass for exterior applications. Tinted, frosted, or clear options.
Transaction Windows
Counter-height windows with speak-through capability for shipping offices, guard booths, and reception areas. Include shelf, locked panel options, and bullet-resistant upgrades.
Specialty & Security Options

For high-security applications, we offer UL 752 ballistic-rated doors and windows from Level 1 (9mm handgun) through Level 8 (7.62mm rifle). Ballistic assemblies include rated glass, steel frames with ballistic overlap, and coordinated wall construction that provides equivalent protection. Guard booths, security checkpoints, and high-value storage facilities benefit from ballistic-rated entry systems.
Electronic access control provisions include electric strike prep, card reader mounting plates, and conduit for access control wiring. Overhead coiling doors and bi-fold doors are available for equipment access, vehicle entry, and large-opening applications. Sliding glass doors provide reception area access and natural light in office configurations.
