Modular buildings for the Las Vegas valley

Material Handling USA supplies factory-built modular buildings across the Las Vegas valley, from North Las Vegas warehouses to Henderson plants and resort back-of-house areas. As an authorized dealer for a leading U.S. modular building manufacturer, we quote, coordinate freight and arrange installation.

Many Las Vegas projects involve heat: booths with a lot of glass, exterior buildings in full sun and E-houses at solar sites.

In-plant offices for Las Vegas warehouses and plants

Many North Las Vegas warehouses are cooled only in part, so offices on the floor need HVAC sized for a hot building, not just the room.

Start with our modular in-plant offices page, or go straight to a standard size: 8 x 8, 8 x 10, 10 x 10, 10 x 12, 12 x 12, 12 x 16 feet.

Desert heat notes for Las Vegas

Las Vegas summers are long and very hot, with intense sun on glass and roofs. Booths and exterior buildings need cooling sized for solar gain, insulated panels, and glazing and overhangs chosen with the sun in mind.

Our Lake Powell booths faced the same desert sun. See HVAC options and wall panels and insulation.

  • Cooling: size HVAC for full-sun exposure and the number of people and screens inside.
  • Glass: consider tinted or reflective glazing and a roof overhang on sun-facing sides.
  • Dust: filtered HVAC and sealed joints help on desert and construction sites.
  • Pads: set booths on a level concrete pad with anchor bolts for permanent use.

Permits in Las Vegas

Permits are usually required for occupied modular buildings, including many interior offices. Check with the City of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas or Henderson building department for sites in those cities, and Clark County for unincorporated areas such as the Strip corridor, Paradise and Enterprise, before you order. We supply drawings for the submittal; see our permits and code compliance guide.

Modular Building Applications in Las Vegas

Las Vegas facilities use modular buildings for a range of jobs, from resort back-of-house security to solar site electrical rooms. The use cases below reflect the industries and site conditions most common across the valley.

Resort and Hospitality Security →Back-of-house areas and loading zones at resorts often need a staffed security station or equipment enclosure. A guard booth with HVAC holds up to long shifts in full sun.
Warehouse and Distribution Offices →North Las Vegas distribution floors benefit from an in-plant office placed away from forklift lanes for supervisors, shipping desks and break areas. Size the HVAC for a hot, only partly cooled building rather than just the room.
Construction Job-Site Offices →Active construction sites around the valley need a job-site office and a gate or entrance booth that can relocate as the project moves. Choose exterior-rated construction to handle full sun exposure.
Solar and Storage E-Houses →Solar and energy storage sites in southern Nevada need E-houses and electrical rooms built around switchgear and controls. Plan HVAC and sealing for desert dust and heat.
Venue and Event Security Booths →Stadiums and event sites need ticket booths and guard booths at entrances and gates. A transaction window and HVAC keep staff comfortable through long events in the heat.
Plant-Floor Offices for Manufacturing →Manufacturing plants in Henderson and North Las Vegas use plant-floor offices and QC rooms positioned for sightlines over the production floor. Consider a two-story layout if floor space is limited.
Forklift Protection for In-Plant Offices →Any in-plant office placed near aisles or dock doors should be protected with guardrail or bollards where trucks and forklifts pass. Plan door placement out of travel lanes.
Exterior Buildings for Desert Heat →Outdoor equipment and operator buildings on Las Vegas sites face full sun and high summer temperatures. An exterior-rated building engineered for site loads holds up better than a standard trailer.
